Volunteering at the Library

The library since its inception has had the valuable support of volunteer teaching activities like workshop and / or classes, as well as participate in library activities and committees ranging from the board to organize fundraising activities.

Some children activities that require volunteers:

English language classes for children, youth or adults. Students learn a new language that will be very useful in education and employment aspects. People are required to stay in the city for more than six months, with experiment we in English language teaching and time available.

Summer workshops. Each year we offer free summer workshops serving 150 children in the months of July and August. It takes people with creative skills, interest in working with children, and time availability.

Promote reading. Is to encourage children and parents that have the spirit of research, reading and comprehension.
It takes people with a love of reading and interest and patience to work with children.

Craft activities. Activities that help develop their psychomotor development, besides accompanying readings with this activity and make it more attractive. It also encourages the recycling to be responsible for the environment in which it lives and creating traditional Mexican toys. It takes people with creative skills, interest in working with children, and time availability.
