The Biblioteca children's choir, Kantare, performed recently at the Luisa Velte ceremony. The choir, which is 2 years old, meets every Tuesday and Thursday at the Sala Quetzal in the Biblioteca. The choir program is free and has 2 great instructors Javier Hernandez and Liliana Hernandez. Kantare will be performing the weekend August 15,16 in another city 200 km outside San Miguel and in November in Mexico City.

The Biblioteca Childrens choir is completely funded by donations from generous library members and the public. Javier and Liliana also donate their valuable time to instruct the choir.
