La Biblioteca's House and Garden tour hosts a very special tour on September 12, 2010. Four properties of importance to San Miguel history and the Independence movement have opened their doors on this singular tour. Places: - Conspiracy House.

La Biblioteca participates in the Harmony Project Raffle During the months of August to October 2010 La Biblioteca will be participating, along with 5 other Non Profit Organizations in the Harmony Project Raffle. Each donation of 60 Pesos or $5.00 U.S. and will enable you to be eligible for some sensational prizes such as a Yamaha Big Bear 4-Wheeler, original artwork, beach get-away, luxury hotel stay, a fabulous handmade quilt, handcrafted rocking chairs, dinners at great restaurants, and much, much more. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the La Biblioteca Tienda or the La Biblioteca entrance on Reloj 52 during library hours Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you buy the tickets at La Biblioteca you will be supporting the voarious programs it offers. La Biblioteca cordially invites you to a benefit concert featuring San Miguel de Allendes´s Vudu Chile. All proceeds from this benefit will be used to support the librarys educational programs. The concert takes place at the Cafe Santa Ana patio, Friday, August 20th. 6:30 pm to 9 pm. |
